Russian dumb bombs

Why is it that when ever Russia is dropping bombs during war they seem to hit everything but strategic and military targets? People are getting bombed while working on their farms. Don’t they have smarter bombs or better pilots so they can hit what was intended? I realize that media might only report about these kind of incidents and not military achievements, but are they really bombing so much that accidently hitting this many civilian targets are statistically acceptable?

hehe, and aiming for belgrad and hitting Sofia is a smartbomb? or by mistake hit a Chinese embassy?

in war civilians die, on purpose and by mistake, the only thing that has improved with the introduction of smartbombs is the aiming, but you still have to point them in the right direction :P

Yeah :) ofcourse the reports coming out from warzones might not always be so reliable, but I just felt sorry for the poor farmer who was bombed while he was herding his cows. Maybe there was some military target nearby ;P.

Today we have the technology to minimize these kinds of things, but ofcourse money talks and maybe they have some old bombs they want to get rid of anyway.
