The picture in the blogpost shows the home screen of the new ROM i flashed with. What you get depends on what ROM you choose ofcourse, but with Duttys Leo ROM you get Windows Mobile 6.5 (6.1 is the stock version for HTC Touch HD), and TouchFLO 3D 2.5 (1.3 is the stock version for HTC Touch HD), so there are alot of interface improvements. Downside is that it can be abit slow sometimes, since the softwares in the ROM is ment to be for newer and faster phones, but most of the time you don't notice this.

Yes, things can go wrong ofcourse, but the risk is not that much greater compared to when you upgrade your phone with an official upgrade. And if you don't like the ROM or it is not working well you can just flash another ROM, or even go back to the official stock one. I will never go back tho :).

I suggest you search "Manila 2.5" or so on Youtube, and take a look at what the features are.

Cool, i think i'll go for it. But, what if something screws up? I mean, do you have any more pictures and stuff that you can show us that makes a "point" in flashing the ROM?

I mean, what are the advantages after the flash?

Slower phone? More functions?

Thanks in advance!
