Another 15 minutes

This is a movie about a murderer who broadcasts his tortures and killing live on the Internet and the cyber crime agents who tries to catch him. The plot is perhaps not so new, the idea has been seen before in series like CSI etc. But it’s pretty good and all the tech-talk in the movie is actually correct, doesn’t happen very often. The movie is good, disturbing at some points, but it keeps you on your toes and then ends pretty quickly.

This is an agent and conspiracy movie, and as you might know I like those. It is a good movie, but I thought it was somewhat hard to see the big picture, how the plot and the persons were all connected. Overall it’s a good movie to see on a rainy weekend and pretty exciting assassination plot.

Saw Terminator Salvation today. The movie is in a way unlike the previous movies since in this movie there is no hunter robot and no protector, but rather the enemy is Skynet as a whole and a big part is played by a human that was made into a cyborg against his will, in fact he doesn’t even know about until late in the story. The movie is not the best of the Terminator movies, but it’s still pretty good. We also see an Arnold cyborg in it :).

Saw the new Star Trek movie last night. I had high expectations on this one, and I had heard great things about it. But I was not thrilled by it, the whole timetravel thing and meeting other generations of the Star Trek crew has already been done multiple times. Zachary Quinto played the role as Spock very well though and the special effects was good.

Saw “The Spirit” today. I didn’t have much expectations, but atleast most super-hero movies are pretty good. The movie is about a man who is immortal (pretty much anyway) fighting his nemesis, The Octopus, who has the same abilities, but his goal is to gain even more power and become a god. It’s filmed in a very artistic and cartoonish way, much like “V for Vendetta” and “Max Payne”.

Saw “Slumdog millionaire” today, a movie we’ve heard alot about and it has won alot of Oscars, one for the best movie. I usually don’t have such high expectations on drama movies, but this one is very well made and the way the story is told and displayed is intreging and very well thought out.

I didn’t have high expectations of this movie, but it was a good action movie and the plot is also pretty good. I think you are probably better off if you have seen the first movie so you know the relationship between the two species and humans. The gore is plenty and well made.
